Code of Ethics for Nature
Code of Ethics for Nature
In the past, there were only a handful of people exploring the plants and animals of Singapore. Their impact was limited. Today, with hundreds of folks regularly visiting our nature areas (land and sea), nature lovers have become capable of loving nature to death. With this in mind, a code of ethics and conduct is needed. This guide spells out how nature lovers should behave, so that our friends, children, and children's children, can continue to enjoy what little nature we still have.
Read the draft of the full-length Code of Ethics for nature lovers and photographers
here
.
Should you have any feedback, please email to Goh Ter Yang at
teryang@nss.org.sg
. We hope to improve the draft before the Code of Ethics is approved during our Annual General Meeting.
