Title: Butterfly walk at MacRitchie Trail
Date: Sun 25 May 2008
Start Time: 10.00am
Start Location: MacRitchie Reservoir Main Entrance Car Park
Leader: Simon Chan (9748-5465)

Butterfly walk at MacRitchie Trail with Simon Chan. Note: This walk is for NSS members only. Non-members who are interested in attending the walk can sign up as members on the spot or from the NSS website. In April, we introduced members to a number of beautiful butterfly species that frequent Mt. Faber Park. This time we will take our newly-found butterfly watching skills to the forest. Members will at once notice the more brilliant colours of forest denizens as compared to the ones in urban areas. Species encountered here include the regal Royal Assyrian, the very rare Dark Blue Jungle Glory, the big, strong and fast flying Great Helen, and many more deep forest dwellers. This walk will last about two hours.
