The Galapagos Islands beckon with accounts of how tame the birds and animals are over there. We know the vital role its wildlife played in Darwin’s development of his theories of natural selection and speciation. In April 2008, Lesley Cartwright-Taylor visited this stunning archipelago as part of her trip to South America that included the montane cloud forests, the lowland rain forests and a sailing trip down the Amazon. Join her as she shares with you her spectacular tour, complete with photos and maps. Meet at 8pm at the NSS Office.
