Open to the Public - Registration Needed
Keen
to start birdwatching? Even without binoculars, you can spot colourful
birds in your backyard if you know how. Join Gloria Seow in this online
workshop to learn about the common species found in our parks, streets
and water bodies, from the showy blue Collared Kingfisher to the sunny
yellow Black-naped Oriole. Pick up the basics of birding including
binoculars use, spotting and identifying birds, and get acquainted with
useful resources like guide books, websites and guided walks. This
webinar compresses a two-day workshop into a kids’ friendly format over
two short sessions. Attend both sessions (different content covered) and
you will be off to a good start. The workshop will be followed by an
AMA (ask me anything) segment.
