Open to the Public
Experienced birdwatchers from the Nature Society (Singapore) Bird Group will guide the walk at Pulau Ubin, starting from the Nature Gallery to Sensory Trail and Pekan Quarry. During the walk, we will look for island specialties including the Oriental Pied Hornbill, Red Junglefowl, White-rumped Shama and the globally critically endangered Straw-headed Bulbul.
Time: 7.30am - 10.30am
Note: Please factor in a buffer time to be at the meeting point on Pulau Ubin.
Duration of Activity: 3hrs
Maximum No. of Participants 15 pax
Cost The walk is free-of-charge but you will have to bring $8 for the 2-way ferry ride to get to and from Pulau Ubin ($4 per person per direction).

Note: - Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. - Registration will close earlier once the maximum number of participants is reached. - Non-members may be accepted for the activity if there are any excess spaces remaining after the closing date. - Participating non-members may sign up for NSS membership during or after the walk. - Only confirmed participants will be contacted by email with details on the meeting time and place.
Things to Bring Bring along a pair of binoculars, sun-hat, water for hydration, rain gear and wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing to prevent insect bites.
