Research and studies have shown that both
nature and music can generate positive emotions and bring about great
joy and well-being. Why not combine these two powerful elements for a
greater well-being? This workshop is a self-discovery about how
journaling your thoughts and feelings could be translated into song
lyrics with the help of nature. Learn simple songwriting techniques by
self-taught singer and songwriter, Shirley Ho, and experience the joy
and fulfilment in song composition inspired by nature and show your
appreciation and love for nature through your song.
Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Online, Zoom

This workshop is suitable as a parent and child activity for children aged 7 and above.

Shirley Ho’s Bio:
"The Earth has unique voices and music for
those who listen.” Escape into the realm of nature and feel the joy in
Shirley’s music. Shirley is a self-taught songwriter and educator who is
passionate about music and nature. Her discovery of the joy in composing music
inspired by nature has motivated her to share her experience and music journey,
hoping to promote an appreciation for nature. Her first single, “Happiness is
with you”, is composed in Singapore Botanic Gardens, and inspired by the
peaceful and tranquil greenery. Feel the connection with nature through her
music.
