World Water Day is held on 22 March every year since 1993, to celebrate freshwater and to raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water.

Lorong Halus Wetlands, located along the eastern bank of Serangoon Reservoir, collects and treats water passing through the former landfill, before it flows into the reservoir, thus safeguarding the quality of water in the reservoir.

In conjunction with World Water Day, join Lena Chow to explore the water filtration ponds at the Lorong Halus Wetlands and admire various dragonfly species eg. Dancing Dropwings, Common Scarlets, Blue Perchers, Variegated Green Skimmers, which are regularly found at this unique place.
