Pesta Ubin: Birdwatching at Pulau Ubin

Open to the Public - Registration Needed

During these walks, we will look out for island specialities including the Oriental Pied Hornbill, Red Junglefowl, White-rumped Shama and the globally critically endangered Straw-headed Bulbul.  

Experienced birdwatchers from the Nature Society (Singapore) Bird Group will guide two walks at Pulau Ubin:

1)    Bird Walk 1 on Sat, 11 June, from Chek Jawa to the Volunteer Hut.
2)    Bird Walk 2 on Sat, 18 June, from Nature Gallery to Sensory Trail and Pekan Quarry.  

Both activities will start at 7.30 am and will last three hours taking participants through different areas of the Ubin countryside.

4 June, Saturday or when the maximum number of participants is reached.  

- Only confirmed participants will be contacted by email and details on the meeting time and place will be provided then.

Covid-19 Safety Management Measures
1. Please note that Covid-19 safe management measures will be observed during the walk.

2. We also advise against the sharing of optics so please bring a pair of binoculars for your own use.
