SUMMARY:Birdwatching for Beginners at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park
DESCRIPTION:Members Only\n \nJoin us for a fun and beginner-friendly session at Bishan-AMK Park as we gear up for the upcoming Singapore Bird Race! \nAlthough Bishan-AMK Park is bound on almost all sides by residential estates\, this park offers an interesting mix of birdlife\, from sunbirds\, orioles\, munias\, to kingfishers and herons.  The trees and vegetation are well spaced out making it relatively easy to see birds in this park.  This 2-3 hour walk (from 7.30 am) is suitable for novice birders as well as nature lovers who are keen to take up birdwatching.  Our guide from NSS Bird Group\, Lee Ee Ling will share handy tips on birdwatching including bird identification\, habitat\, optics and equipment. \nTrip Leader: Ms Lee Ee Ling\, NSS Bird Group long-time member \nMaximum No. of Participants: 15 pax \nRegistration\nTo attend\, please register at:\nhttps://tinyurl.com/NSSBGbirdwalk2 \nNote:\n•⁠ ⁠Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis.\n• This is a Members Only walk.
