Singapore is home to over 2\,000 species of native plants — and an additional 2\,000 exotic species flourish in our parks and gardens. On this walk\, we’ll learn to identify some of these exotic plants\, and if we’re lucky\, we might even encounter a few commonly cultivated native species. SUMMARY:Butterfly Walk at Woodlands Botanical Garden
DESCRIPTION:Members Only\nJoin Steven visit Woodlands Botanic Garden and check out at least 15 resident butterflies including the Common Birdwing always flying around. Look out also for the Black-veined Tiger\, Julia Longwing\, Peacock Royal\, Leopard Lacewing. In addition observe the many flowers and plants that make this a unique botanical garden in an urban town park\, featured also in the recent copy of the Jan-March Nature Watch Volume 32 Issue 1 ‘From Barren Hill to Haven of Hope’\, described there as a ‘mental well being garden’ and a biodiversity garden that can ‘make a difference’.
