SUMMARY:Plant Painting Session at Singapore Botanic Gardens
DESCRIPTION:NSS Members Only \nIn this art session\, participants will learn to sketch and paint plants\, helping them observe and remember key features of different species. Held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens\, this session is also a follow-up to our past plant walks\, where participants learned to identify various plants. Those who have not attended previous plant walks are most welcome to join as this is a great opportunity to learn about plant morphology through art. \nNo art background/experience is needed\, and families are encouraged to join. The session will start with the basics of sketching and colour mixing. Our efforts weave together forests\, mangroves and urban greenery into a continuous lifeline for wildlife\, providing them with food\, shelter\, and room to roam. \nTake this chance to get hands-on\, connect with nature\, and make a lasting impact on Singapore’s biodiversity. Support our rewilding mission\, in collaboration with NParks’ OneMillionTrees movement.
