Hi
I will be coming to Singapore, end of June begining of July, some of the trip will be down memory lane (last their 1970), just wondering where would the best places to see butterflies and what would be the best time of day to see them
thanks

Hi Dave,

Welcome back to Singapore!

I suggest after 9.30am on a sunny day :
- for urban/park butterflies : Pasir Ris Park ('kitchen garden'); and Butterfly Trail @ Orchard, which runs right through Orchard Road (probably unrecognisable from what it was in the 70s) Trail map here : http://www.nss.org.sg/old/doc/nss_bto_map_jan2011.pdf
- for forest butterflies : Dairy Farm Nature Park (from Carpark B to the old house on the hill just beyond Wallace Education Centre)

Good luck and enjoy your stay!
