Wen Qing, an avid birder from NUS had also just joined us during the walk. Here is a list of bird species she compiled using the NSS iphone bird app.

Rufous-Tailed Tailorbird
Scaly-Breasted Munia
Scarlet-Backed Flowerpecker
Olive-Backed Sunbird
Crimson Sunbird
Purple-Throated Sunbird
Brown-Throated Sunbird
Striped Tit-Babbler
Oriental White-Eye
Straw-Headed Bulbul
Yellow-Vented Bulbul
Pacific Swallow
White-Vented Myna
Asian Glossy Starling
Common Iora
Black-Naped Oriole
Brahminy Kite
White-Breasted Waterhen
Spotted Dove
Blue-Crowned Hanging Parrot
Little Bronze Cuckoo (as suggested by Lena)
Blue-Throated Bee-Eater
White-Throated Kingfisher
Lineated Barbet
Coppersmith Barbet
Common Goldenback
Banded Woodpecker

Good to see the Blue Crowned Hanging Parrot which is expanding its territory, as far as I observe in the field and from NSS records.

Cheers,
Anuj
