Taking snaps of Tussock moth caterpillar

Another Tussock Moth caterpillar - this one has a black "eye/mouth" that opens up when disturbed and later closes again, probably a defence mechanism (see vid of previous sighting : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCvutKct ... e=youtu.be)

A hard-to-identify brown skipper, later confirmed as a Full Stop Swift

We also saw many Orb-web spiders, among which a Black Wood Spider (Nephila kuhlii)

and a beautiful but tiny Hasselt's Spiny Spider ((Gasteracantha haseltii)
