Sentosa BIG survey in June

Dear all,
The majority for this last survey has voted 20th June (Sunday).
New NSS members not been with us for previous surveys and have some knowledge of Butterfly ID are encouraged to..............come lah !!

Ok a smaller group confirmed for the last Sentosa survey this Sunday...so last minute calling for any more volunteers.

Here's a pic of the unusual King Crow spp amongst our super-haul of 40 species this morning... :dance:

Here are more pictures of the area we surveyed, in particular the pretty flowers found at Imbiah Terrace, most of the butts were there.

Skytrain/Luge and Megazip Adventure area...anyone knows if this hostplant of the Stiped Blue Crow we found one pupa and cat...is the hostplant...name of hostplant ? Ficus ??

Btw the unsual crow has the markings or variation of the likes of Euploea camaralzeman malayica, the Malayan Crow ? which is extremely rare.
May not be from the Butterfly Park excapee ? Possibly found in the island areas.
Look at those forewing spots from the upperside I was last to take this shot before being released.

Looks more like a subspecies of the King Crow...Euploea phaenareta castelnaui.....
