The Leaf Blues are the stars, they are rare and we are very lucky to see both in a single trip. Thanks to Amy for spotting the A. anita.

Too bad I missed it! your shot of the jester with the sun rays shining through the wings really makes it look like a piece of stained glass. I really really like that shot.


Here's a comparison of the same butterfly shot without and with flash. The one withiut flash was shot at ISO 1000.

Yes, we were very lucky to see so many rare species. I have more lifer in this trip than my other trips to FH. I am still sorting out my photos and compiling the species list.
