This Curetis santana malayica was captured at Rifle Range Road ... :D :D :D

The color and patterns blend very well with pebbles on the trek. It is next to impossible to see it once you take your eyes off it.

Here is Lena taking a shot and I was lucky to capture the upperside when it flapped its wings

A closeup of the butterfly. Using the flip-out LCD and LiveView , I was able to place the camera on the ground and have it parallel to the wings. :cheers:
