Some butterflies from 1st Jan 2013 trip to P Ubin

Postby laurence leong » Wed Jan 02, 2013 12:47 pm

After the last day of 2012 whole day rain washing away the unpleasant events of the year, the sun came out strongly on the first day of the New Year, portending perhaps, a hotter year ahead. We were out to do a butterfly count, and we saw plenty. Here are three of them:

A very fresh Coconut Skipper, shot witht he help of Anuj.

Telicota sp. Id by Soon Chye but I lost memory of the full name.

Ancrya Blue, a lycaenid commonly found here.
