Blue Glassy Tiger at my condo

Postby green baron » Thu Jan 17, 2013 11:09 pm

After planting Tylophora at my condo's fence a few months back, the Blue Glassy Tiger (BGT) butterfly has finally located the plants and started laying eggs on it. :yeh: :yeh: Here are some of the eggs I collected

and here are some of the adult caterpillars I found feeding on the vine

I have also sighted the BGT butterfly near the fence. Now let's see how long it takes for the Dark Glassy Tiger to find its host plant :pdr:

I transferred a few of the cats to the Tylophora vine in my garden. These are in the last instar and are ready to transform into pupa
