Time:3:00pm to 9:00pm
Venue: MOE Dairy Farm Adventure Centre

Join us at our next NSS Get-Together, held at the tranquil settings of the MOE Dairy Farm Adventure Centre, and get acquainted with fellow members. Simply chill out and chat or take part in some of the many activities offered by the various NSS Subgroups. Finish off the day with a hearty buffet dinner and a nostalgic sing-along session. Members are encouraged to register in advance, but last minute attendance is also acceptable. Please register by emailing your name and contact number to Justin at contact@nss.org.sg. Amongst the exciting lineup of activities, some definite, some still in the proposal stage are:

  1. PLANT TOUR - A guided walk by the Plant Group will introduce you to the rich cornucopia of greenery growing within the centre’s garden and its jungle environs.
  2. BUTTERFLY HUNT– The Butterfly Interest Group will delight you with colourful fluttering creatures that pollinate and pro-create before expiring, in a hunt like no other.
  3. BIRDWATCHING – Locate that mellifluous tune wafting down from the tree tops and admire the burst of colours emanating from our tropical and migratory birds with the Bird Group. Remember to bring your binoculars. We’ll provide telescopes for even closer views.
  4. NIGHT WALK & STAR-GAZING– If the weather permits, The Nature Ramblers will take you on a night walk to the Dairy Farm Quarry for an introduction to the heavenly constellations.
  5. FUN WITH KAMPONG GAMES– Calling all kids 4 to 12 years old. Join Gloria and Tim of the Education Group in Fun with Kampong Games. Shoot marbles, dabble in ‘five stones’ and enjoy team games such as ‘Eagle catches the Chicks’, ‘One-Leg’ and ‘Le-long’.
Register with Gloria at gloria_seow@yahoo.com stating your kids’ names and ages. Free-of-charge. Time: 430pm to 6pm.
  6. ADVENTURE – Try your hand at the various fun activities organized by the MOE Dairy Farm Adventure Centre:
