Stink Bug widespread breeding on rails at Sengkang View Walk

Postby amytsang » Tue Aug 09, 2011 5:47 pm

Hi, I spotted some kind of stink bug breeding profusely along the rails which line the Sengkang View Walk this morning - 9 Aug. Quite a number of the egg patches had the stink bugs guarding over the eggs. There were a few egg patches where the baby stink bugs had emerged. Perhaps, more will be emerging in subsequent days...?

I wonder if this occurrence is normal? I'm attaching some pixs and I hope those who know about bugs will comment and enlighten us on this matter! What kind of bug is this?

Thanks,
Amy
