Hi Lena, I have seen this tree hopper too some time back - think it was at Wallace Dairy Farm trail. Where did you spot this one?

I'm afraid I don't know much about Tree Hoppers and haven't yet found any book on these small fellas. Hopefully, some one in the university is studying Tree Hoppers and will enlighten us. From my observation, there is a fair range of tree hoppers - they vary quite a bit in terms of their shape, size and color. Will try to post my pixs of tree hoppers taken at various times. Hopefully, this may draw more attention and someone knowledgeable on this subject will respond! Cheers!
