GB,

For beginners like ourselves, I find this site quite useful for local spider ID : http://habitatnews.nus.edu.sg/guidebook ... piders.htm

So #2 is probably Curved Spiny Spider (Gasteracantha arcuata), and #4 "X-man" is prob the common Multi-Coloured St Andrew's Cross Spider (Argiope versicolor).

Nice photos! Im sorry but i do not know what the first one is. Its very hard to ID as i've not seen it before and i dont have a clue on its species. As for the G Arcuata, i did take a photo, but i am not sure where it is... I think i may have accidentally deleted it as i was clearing out some old photos, its a shame!
