What is this plant pls, which caught our eye at Changi Cove this morning?

Lena,
These are not tomato but related to eggplant, Solanum sp.

Thanks GB. Actually these are more suitably called EGGplants being the right size, shape & colour! :thumbsup:
I don't know why purple brinjals are called eggplants..:pdr:

More likely to be Solanum wrightii, judging from the leaves shape : http://natureloveyou.sg/Solanum%20wrightii/Main.html
Can see a lot of it at the zoo where the above pix probably was taken (the walkway to the elephant show I saw years back) :lol:
Seldom see so many fruits :thumbsup:
