Panoramic shot with Sony TX7

Postby green baron » Thu Mar 25, 2010 2:54 pm

The new Sony DSC-TX7 has a very nifty feature (amongst a few other noteworthy features) call Sweep Panorama. By simply holding down the shoot button and panning the camera across the scene, you can capture panoramas that span up to 224-degree horizontal or 154-degree vertical.

Below are a few photos taken with this feature. It is fun and gives a different feel to the scene. The best thing is everything is done in-camera, no post processing nor stitching software required. In addition, the camera detects if people or other objects are moving as you sweep the camera and automatically remove ghost or duplicate objects. This is really awesome !
