Sample shots from Panasonic GX1 and Leica 45mm macro lens

What I like about this camera is there are many dials and buttons to allow quick access to frequently used functions and there are 4 programmable buttons. Under good lighting condition, large subject or uncluttered background, it focuses almost instantly. What I like most are the size, weight and image quality.

What I don't like :
- The grip is not very comfortable.
- No flip out LCD.
- The battery life is terrible. I took about 300 shots and used 1 and a half batteries !
- Need to go to menu to switch btw auto-focus and manual. It is a pain when you want to focus on tiny subject which the cammer cannot find. I tried to photograph a damselfly and gave up after 5 mins. I missed Nikon's AF-S.

I would get this camera if the macro lens support manual focus override.

Here are some photos taken with the combo, cropped with no sharpening.

Great lens. The subjects are so sharp, they seem to jump out.
These Micro 4/3 cameras have lousy grips, too small.

Unfortunately the Autofocus is not very fast and it has problem locking on the subject.

I am now considering the OM-D EM5.
