Moth and skipper

Moth and skipper

Hi Richard,
I found 1 moth and 2 skippers at AP this afternoon but not sure which species it is exp for the skippers, are both the same type or otherwise? Any idea?: :pdr:

Godd shots of these small insects, Walad. The moth ID I'll leave that to the moth specialist. The skipper is the Potanthus omaha omaha (Lesser Dart).

Hi Walad,
Your moth looks like a Ricanid plant hopper instead of a moth.

Thanks Richard but are both skippers of same species? or 2 different one?

Thanks PT. Now I got.. it's a tiny insect / hopper and not moth or butterfly. :yes: :yeh:
