Very unusual as the pupa is suspended by silk spunned by the

KC,
It is a moth cat. Can't remember the name off my head, have to check my photos.

Ok, just remember. It is a Trabala sp cat. Not uncommon in Sin forest.

Nice pix. Do you have pictures of the leaves being fed on ?
Last time I saw a different Trabala cat few feeding on Tibouchina leaves (Melastomataceae) in Genting Highlands...to confirm ?
