Got this fellow at Mandai forest, he was in a hurry to go somewhere, on the Fishtail Palm,
so is he ready to pupate ???

Anyone able to ID this fellow ??? When fully stretched out is about 4 inches long...

I believe this is a Trabala sp caterpillar. I have always wanted to rear it but never seen it feeding so don't know what is its host plant.

Well, I have it in my box, it is so active the whole day, from the time I found it in the jungle,
from my experience with the Hawk Moths, they are very active when it wants to pupate ????
