These were seen when i was there on holiday with family last week :

While these grew around trees and shrubs (eg hibiscus) :

Hi PT,
Your plants look like the Macaranga sp; Cassytha sp; Premna sp. and probably an Agave sp.!
Close-up of flowers of the parasitic Cassytha??
used to see a lot on trees at St John's Is.

Any close-up of plant no. 1?
Callicarpa longifolia; Erythroxylum cuneatum (False coccaine); Cissus hastata.
