Postby plain tiger » Mon Apr 12, 2010 12:22 pm

Anyone knows the ID of these trees, along Kent Ridge Tree top walk last Saturday 10th April.
The red leaves seen also from this : viewtopic.php?f=25&t=647
The first picture at start of walk near Pepy's Road end.

First one could be rubber.

Second one could be kasai, Pometia pinnata.

Dat's what I thought Wombat...saw rubber trees further up, without the flowers, first time seeing...
Not sure about Pometia as not seen so much red leaves cf those around my estate...but could be.
