This large dragonfly is now found here.

Looks like a female Cratilla metallica, Dark-tipped Forest Skimmer, to me :smile:

Sorry. it is not found here. My finger was too fast but erratic. The whole body is a light, whitish indigo .

Hi Laurence,
By "here", I suppose you mean Singapore. I am no odonata expert, but KC & I met this similar-looking dragon, and what we think was a Cratilla metallica here at Sime forest in Aug 09. As usual, KC would have a better pic :lol:

I also saw these dragons at Panti last year.

Here is another shot of another individual. The body colour is a lot ligher than our local species then.
