Hi Gan,

Lovely photos of the germinating mistletoe seeds, Macrosolen cochinchinensis and Dendrophthoe pentandra. The top photo and the one on right show seeds of M. cochinchinensis.
Although I have been tending D. pentandra on my Sui Mei for over 10 years, M. cochinchinensis germinated but never succeeded to grow on the Sui Mei..
I am still often saddled with huge batches of cats of the painted lady.
If you believe that mistletoes would have killed my Sui Mei by now, be surprised to see the flowerclusters still attracting the SBF and sunbirds.
