Real or false curry

Is this the true curry tree, Murraya koenigii or false, Clausena excavata now flowering and fruiting ?

Dear Angie,
Yes and gave you too...glad the supplier gave correctly years back.
I have given lots of saplings for planting you need some more let me know, still small though.
Matter on real or not put to rest :thumbsup:

Hi Steven,
Here's the false Curry Plant, Clausena excavata, plenty growing in BBCemy.
Leaves look like and smell like the real curry;
only when it flowers in panicles, and when the slightly oval fruits ripen pink!!

Can the false curry leaves be used in cooking as well ?

Unlike the False Dill, Artimesia scoparia, which is used as a culinary herb or as a pretty hedge plant in gardens, Clausena excavata does not taste good.
I think it'll make your curry bitter!
