The Upper Seletar Reservoir Park skirts the Central Catchment Nature Reserves. It has always been a good spot for butterfly watching. Over the years, some very good forest butterflies have emerged at the park, especially during the months of June, July and August. The more regular butterflies sighted there include the Cruiser, Common Bluebottle, Tailed Jay, Common Mormon, Malay Viscount, Peacock Pansy, Rustic, Archduke, Purple Duke. Uncommon and rare exciting finds were Great Helen, 5-Bar Swordtail, Common Birdwing, Red Edge, Great Mormon, Saturn, Green Imperial, Dark Posy, Chocolate Royal, Dark Blue Jungle Glory, Common Tree Nymph, Banded Swallowtail, Magpie Crow.
