Accompany Steven on a butterfly walk at Bukit Gombak Park. This beautiful park is host to a great variety of butterflies. Come spend time watching and videoing butterflies here.
On a hot sunny day, can expect to see the Autumn Leaf, Silver Forget-me-not, Lemon and Orange Emigrant, Plain Tigers, Leopards, Rustic, Grey Pansies, Common and Broad banded Sailors, and a recent new comer, the Julia Heliconia, all residents at the park. Ocassionally also the Dark Cerulean, Apefly and Common Birdwing will make their appearance. A total of over 70 speices have been recorded.
Participants are to be well on the day of the activity, and must wear a mask if they are coughing or sneezing. NSS reserves the right to turn away participants who are unwell on the day.

– The walk is reserved for NSS members only.
– Non-members may be accepted if there are excess places by closing date.
– Participating non-members may sign up for NSS membership during or after the walk.
– Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
– Registration will close earlier once the maximum number of participants is reached.
– Only confirmed participants will be contacted by email with details on the meeting time and place.
Things to Bring
Bring along a pair of binoculars, sun-hat, water for hydration, rain gear and wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing and/or use insect repellent to prevent insect bites.
