Marine Conservation Group

About Marine Conservation Group

The Marine Conservation Group is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Nature Society Singapore (NSS). Our outreach efforts include public talks, booths, publications, photo exhibitions and other marine related events and conferences such as Asia Dive Expo. A series of virtual workshops and talks sprout over the pandemic period as an alternative channel. The group is also constantly involved in various consultations with the government, viewing of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and subsequent feedback and responses to foreshore development work that have impacts to marine habitats.
